Robert Lee Dumas

MR. ROBERT LEE "ROB" DUMAS  86 of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Dumas is the father of retired "Master Trooper Bruce J. Dumas," who served Person and surrounding counties from 1987 to 2012 as NC, Highway Patrolman.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2025 at McAuley Memorial AME Zion Church,  2829 NC Hwy 109 S., Mt. Gilead, NC.  Burial to follow in the Ingram Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery, Mt. Gilead, NC.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at Harris Funeral Home Chapel.
