In Loving Memory of Phillip Johnson, Jr.

Phillip Johnson, Jr., beloved son of Phillip and Catherine Torain Harrelson, Sr., and cherished by his adoptive parents, Willie and Sallie Johnson, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

He is survived by his loving daughters, April and Jaki Johnson of Baltimore, Maryland; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Jeraline Harrelson, and brother, Garland “George” Harrelson, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Phillip’s quiet strength, and humility will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 29th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Chavis-Parker Funeral Home, 405 NC Highway 57, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30th, at Chavis-Parker Funeral Home, at 12:00 p.m.  Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
