McTaverence LeShon “Mack” Ramsey, age 47, departed this life unexpectedly and entered into eternal peace on April 6, 2025, in Hurdle Mills, NC. Mack was born on March 10, 1978, in Chapel Hill, NC to Patricia Ramsey and the late McRonald Ramsey. He attended Person High School and began a career in the electrical industry. He was currently employed at Zachry's Construction in Durham, NC, as a skilled worker.
Mack was a very loving person and full of humor. He looked forward to spreading his love and laughter amongst his family and friends daily. In the morning, he would start at 4:30 am calling and making his rounds to a list of family members. Although many of them would ask why are you calling so early, others would enjoy the early morning chats and the stories he would love to tell. He cherished moments hanging with his uncles, visiting with his Grandma Ruby and being on the family farm where his mother resided. Mack had a special place in his heart for his mother, his sisters, his children, as well his nieces and nephew. Mack shared his innermost affection with his longtime companion, Brenda McNair and a special bond with his close friend, Darrel Thomas (Boo).
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ramsey; his children, Dashon Ramsey, Aariyanne Ramsey, Kiara Ramsey, Khylia Ramsey and Ashiya Ramsey; and a granddaughter, Harmony Wagstaff. Two loving sisters, McKisha Ramsey and Monica Ramsey; his grandmother, Ruby Ramsey and a host of family and friends that will miss and love him immensely.
