Joyce M. (Sprueill) Wallace

Mrs. Joyce Sprueill-Wallace, age 85, peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 12, 1939, to the late Maurice and Bertha Sprueill.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Maurice Sprueill, and her sister, Tammy Sprueill-Hamlett.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters: Nancy Woody of Roxboro, NC, Gertrude Lippan of Ridge, New York, and Teresa Whyte of Bronx, New York. Her five nieces: Marcia Henderson of Far Rockaway, New York, Nakia Brandt of Los Gatos, California, Ashia Whyte of Norfolk, Virginia, Kanika Whyte of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Jamila Whyte of Bronx, New York; and her three nephews: Maurice Harris of Roxboro, NC, Trevor Hamlett of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Yohance Whyte of Bronx, New York. She also leaves behind nine great-nieces and nephews.

No formal funeral service will be held.
