Jackie Donnell Evans

Mr. Jackie Donnell Evans, age 64, transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his residence. Jackie was born on December 13, 1961 to the late Edith Thompson and Spencer Blackwell. Jackie attended Person County Schools.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Annie Welburn (Donald), Brenda Wade, and Lisa Torain; two brothers, Carl Blackwell and Darrell Thompson; three nephews and two nieces; four great nieces, five great nephews, two great, great nephews and three great, great nieces, as well as, a host of other family and friends.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Alan L. Lawson Mortuary Chapel, 209 Chub Lake St. Roxboro, NC 27573. Words of Comfort will be delivered by Reverend Lindsey Baskett.
